Ferdinand David | VP of Business Intelligence
Ferdinand is the VP of Business Intelligence for both IDG TechNetwork and IDG Consumer & SMB. Ferdinand leads a group that is responsible for both quantitative analysis and financial administration. While at IDG TechNetwork, he received the company’s MVP award.
Before joining IDG, Ferdinand worked at Time Inc. as a member of the Corporate Sales - Finance & Strategy team, where he helped structure annual agreements with some of Time Inc.’s largest advertisers and priced special advertising units. He also worked at PRIMEDIA Inc as a Circulation Business Manager, overseeing the circulation marketing P&Ls of 23 titles.
Ferdinand has a BS in Finance and Economics from New York University and an MBA in Finance and Media from Columbia Business School.
Daniella Krieger | Director of Marketing
As the first marketing member within the company, Daniella’s responsibilities include the overall leadership and strategy of IDG TechNetwork’s position in the market. This includes management of all corporate & sales marketing, PR, research and custom program development.
Prior to IDG TechNetwork, Daniella worked at Ziff Davis Enterprise for 4 years leading the Integrated Marketing Department. She is an experienced leader in developing and implementing large-scale strategic marketing campaigns across platforms for clients including Dell, IBM, Microsoft and Verizon. Daniella also had a 3-year stint writing mobile-web columns for Seventeen Magazine and CosmoGirl! starting in 2004.
Daniella is a graduate of Hunter College and is a born and bred NYer. Her greatest accomplishment yet is this website ;)
Vince Banks | Vice President of Digital Media
With a decade of experience in the online-advertising industry, Vince Banks serves as IDG TechNetwork’s Vice President of Digital Media. He oversees the Digital Operations, Digital Strategy, and Digital Development groups, which are responsible for campaign implementation, management, delivery, performance, and optimizations. In his tenure at IDG TechNetwork, Vince has established and met ambitious performance benchmarks, integrated data segments to the network, and assembled a strong team of media strategists.
Before joining IDG TechNetwork, Vince worked at Best of Media Group as the Vice President of Operations and Business Development as well as Citrix Online.
Brian Gleason | Group CRO, IDG TechNetwork and IDG Consumer & SMB
As Group CRO, Brian is responsible for leading the Sales, Marketing, Publisher Development and Programmatic divisions of IDG TechNetwork. As a dynamic and results-driven executive, Brian has a distinguished career in building and motivating highly effective sales teams within the digital media, finance and publishing industries. Brian holds senior level relationships across agencies, clients, publishers, distributors and vendors.
Prior to joining IDG TechNetwork, Brian spent time in Senior Revenue Management roles within the Capital Finance and Enterprise Technology industries. In 1995 he began his career at Ziff-Davis, and over a nine year period held multiple titles including Publisher of eWEEK and National Associate Publisher of PC Magazine. Brian was named one of Folio Magazine’s 30 under 30 emerging leaders in the publishing industry, back in the day.
In 2012 Brian also assumed the role of CRO of IDG Consumer & SMB, which encompasses the popular tech brands of TechHive, PC World, Mac World and Content Works.
Marc Carter | Worldwide Manager of Digital Operations
Marc Carter joined IDG TechNetwork in 2012 as the leader of the Digital Operations Team. His experience encompasses many aspects of the media industry like print, digital media and video.
Prior to joining IDG TechNetwork, Marc held positions at Federated Media, Best of Media and BBDO. Marc is the founder and managing editor of The Torque Report.
He is a graduate of University of California, Santa Barbara.
Matt Levine | Director of Sales
Matt Levine is a seasoned media professional with 12+ years of technology publishing experience working both in print and digital media. Matt leads IDG TechNetwork’s West Coast sales efforts and works closely with leading advertising agencies and Fortune 500 clients, building trusted relationships and innovative marketing solutions.
Matt has been instrumental in building the West Coast Sales team as well as opening the Chicago office. Prior to joining IDG TechNetwork, Matt was Regional Sales Manager for GamePro Media and Western Advertising Director for Future US. Matt began his publishing career at Ziff Davis Publishing.
Sean Buckley | Group Director of Business & Publisher Development
Sean Buckley joined the IDG TechNetwork during its early stages in July 2008. Sean manages the Business Development team, overseeing the company's exchange business, and publisher development group.
Sean holds a degree in Marketing/Finance from Northeastern University in Boston, where he also co-founded the school’s highly successful Venture Accelerator, IDEA.
Ekapat Chareonlarp | VP Product Development & IDG Creative Lab
Named "one of the best brains in the industry" by “The Magazine of Online Media, Marketing & Advertising", Ekapat Chareonlarp is the Vice President of products and head of IDG's Creative Lab. Ekapat manages custom solutions, Tech Video Network, mobile advertising network, demand generation division, data advertising division and performance media products such as social marketing and cost per action.
In April 2011, he launched the Tech Media Lab (now IDG Creative Lab), a group dedicated to innovation in ad technology and digital marketing.
For 13 years, Ekapat has helped Fortune 500 clients with their brand strategies at IDG and The Wall Street Journal. He began his career at IDG as a Director of Marketing and Research, working with sales colleagues worldwide. As Director of Global Integrated Programs, Ekapat worked with tech marketers to develop multimedia campaigns across print, online, and events for brands including Computerworld, CIO, PCWorld, Macworld, and GamePro. Clients included some the largest tech vendors such as Cisco, HP, IBM, Dell, and Oracle.
Peter Longo | CEO, IDG TechNetwork and IDG Consumer & SMB
As CEO, Peter Longo has led the IDG TechNetwork to dramatic growth since its founding in 2008. Longo brought with him a 20 year career in media sales and senior management. A graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, he began his career at CMP Media and moved to Ziff Davis Media in 1991, where he held several executive positions. Longo rose from associate publisher to executive vice president with titles such as PC Magazine, PC Week/eWEEK, and Computer Shopper.
In 2003, he joined Zinio, first as executive vice president and then rose to president, publishing at the digital magazine provider. He launched the first consumer magazine in a digital format and added more than 250 other publications before he left in 2006 to join Inform Technologies as senior vice president and chief sales officer.
In 2012 Pete also assumed the role of CEO of IDG Consumer & SMB, which encompasses the popular tech brands of TechHive, PC World, Mac World and Content Works.
